Report: Rosatom mulls joining Turkish Sinop power plant project

MOSCOW, Oct 19 (PRIME) -- Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom is discussing with Turkish business partners participation in construction of nuclear power plant Sinop in Turkey, CEO Alexei Likhachyov told Rossiya 24 TV channel on Wednesday.

“We have started negotiations with our business partners, Turkish business partners, to form approaches in terms of technological alliances, investment policy and shaping this Turkish energy market taking into account the future presence of a large nuclear power plant,” he said.
